High school baseball: Philipsburg-Osceola falls to DuBois in season finale

May 16, 2014

— The Philipsburg-Osceola baseball team’s season came to an end Thursday with a 7-1 loss to DuBois.

The Beavers (17-2) got on the board first and plated four run in the sixth inning to take control of the game. P-O (5-14) got its lone run from Aaron Mason when Logan Williamson knocked him in to score in the bottom of the fourth.

For the rest of the afternoon, P-O couldn’t hit DuBois pitcher Devin Walker.

Walker pitched a complete game, allowed only Williamson’s hit and struck out 12.
