Letter to the editor | State High support appreciated

May 24, 2014

On behalf of the board of directors and the entire State College Area School District school community, thank you for engaging in our recent State High project referendum process.

Tuesday’s vote was the culmination of years of planning and hard work by many members of our greater community. This was truly a team effort, and the overwhelming “yes” vote is a testament to this community’s belief in public education and willingness to pay it forward for generations to come.

This facility will better support student learning, increase safety and security, and provide quality, flexible learning spaces.

Our board and administrative team will work diligently with the Crabtree, Rohrbaugh and Associates team to bring this project in on time and within our budget. At our June 2 board meeting, we will discuss our project calendar and key benchmarks to our process.

Thank you!
