Morrisdale man accused of assault, harassment

A Morrisdale man faces charges of simple assault and harassment after he allegedly attacked a man and woman from Morrisdale, state police at Philipsburg said.

Police said William Lamb Jr., 23, arrived at a parking lot off Casanova Road about 2 miles east of Munson with William Lamb Sr., 45; Lynda Lamb, 23; and a 33-year-old Philipsburg woman, whom police did not identify.

According to police, the group got into an argument, during which William Lamb Jr. punched Lynda Lamb and struck William Lamb Sr. with a stick several times, causing minor injuries. Police said the Philipsburg woman shoved Lynda Lamb.

Police did not identify the nature of the argument or the relationship among the Lambs. Lamb Jr. and the Philipsburg woman fled to a Morrisdale residence, where they were apprehended, police said.
