Littering leads to arrest of Julian man on contempt charge

From CDT staff reportsJune 3, 2014

Littering is never a good idea. It is a worse idea when you are in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong person.

A Julian man found that out at about 6 p.m. Monday. That’s when he was pulled over for littering out the window of the van he was riding in on U.S. Route 322 in Worth Township.

When police stopped the van, they determined that the man had a protection from abuse order in effect prohibiting him from contact with a certain female.

That certain female was driving the van, police said.

And that’s when he was arrested for violating the PFA.

He was taken to Centre County booking for arraignment on a contempt charge.
