Legion baseball: Clarence downs Clearfield

— Clarence erupted for 11 runs in the sixth inning and beat Clearfield 17-10 in an American Legion baseball game on Thursday.

Clarence trailed 10-6 after allowing four runs in the top of the sixth. The team then put together seven hits to score 11 runs, highlighted by Tyler Dyke’s three-run single.

Ryan Guenot had three singles for Clarence, and Jeff Bennett finished with a single and a double. Colton Comly picked up the win.
