Bellefonte woman injured in crash

From CDT staff reportsJune 8, 2014

A Bellefonte woman suffered moderate injuries in a two-car crash Sunday morning in Benner Township.

Debra Jones, of Bellefonte, was driving south on Rock Road at 11:40 a.m. when she lost control while going around a curve, Rockview state police said. Her 2004 Ford Mustang traveled into the opposing lane of traffic and sideswiped a 2012 Ford F-150 driven by Marvin Struble, of Bellefonte.

Jones was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center, while Struble was not injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

The vehicles had to be towed by Catherman’s Towing, and police were assisted by Undine Fire Company and Centre LifeLink.
