Philipsburg home burglarized

A Philipsburg home was burglarized sometime this spring.

According to state police at Philipsburg, Billy Joe Sallurday, 54, was victimized sometime between April 1 and June 10.

Police said someone entered the Hale Street residence through a basement door.

The perpetrator removed an electrical panel along with wiring and copper piping.

That person also tried to gain access to the home’s first floor through the basement, damaging a wooden door.

Damages are estimated at $2,100.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 342-3370.
