Police: Philipsburg man faces charges after domestic incident

— State police said that a 58-year-old borough man stabbed and threatened to kill a 23-year-old man at a residence on North 10th Street early Thursday.

Neither man has been identified.

Police said they were called to the home on the 200 block around 2:30 a.m.

The two men had been arguing about an eviction notice.

The older man used a knife to slash and stab the younger man, causing a superficial laceration to the victim’s abdomen.

The older man threatened to kill the younger man, who was able to escape from the residence, police said.

The 58-year-old faces charges including aggravated assault, simple assault, making terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.
