Truck downs utility, cable lines near Oak Hall

From CDT staff reportsJune 18, 2014

Comcast customers in Boalsburg were without service Monday because a truck working at Oak Hall Quarry, 850 Boalsburg Road, “did significant damage to commercial power and cable lines,” according to Bob Grove, Comcast Cable Keystone Region vice president of public relations.

The outage began at about 11:45 a.m. and, Grove said, Comcast crews did not gain access to begin direct repairs until after utility crews were finished, at about 6 p.m.

The work was completed by about midnight, Grove said.
