Little League baseball: Philipsburg-Osceola uses 11-run rally to beat Bald Eagle Area

— Philipsburg-Osceola’s 11-12 All-Stars turned a one run deficit into a 10-run win in its 13-3 five inning victory over Bald Eagle Area in a District 5 game on Monday.

The Mounties went into the bottom of the fifth inning down 3-2. Eleven runs later, P-O walked off the field winners in their opening game.

Keegan Soltis played a key role for the Mounties hitting a grand slam and two singles and finished the game with six RBIs. Quinton Moslak also went deep for P-O with a three-run blast.

The Mounties will now host Clearfield on Friday at 6 p.m.

Jaden Jones and Matthew Reese drove in the runs for the Eagles. Jones had a double, single and two RBIs while Reese had a solo home run.
