High school girls’ lacrosse: State College junior Kendall Loviscky to compete on national stage

From CDT staff reportsJune 29, 2014

State College junior Kendall Loviscky will compete in the Brine National Lacrosse Classic starting Monday in Germantown, Md.

Loviscky will join 319 of the other top high school lacrosse players from the east coast who made it through Brine’s competitive selection process. Loviscky attended a tryout in Philadelphia in March and was selected to compete in the National tournament to be held at the Maryland Soccerplex. Meanwhile, the talented midfielder was named a Brine All-American and will represent Pennsylvania in the 16-team tournament that will pit the nation’s top junior and seniors against one another.

The tournament will run through July 3.

Loviscky helped State College to a 15-5 record that included an 8-1 mark in Mid Penn play. She was named a Mid Penn First-Team All-American for her efforts during her junior campaign.

She has verbally committed to IUP where she will play lacrosse and seek a degree in nursing in 2016.
