County League baseball: Myers, Spring Mills shut out Lemont

— Tyler Myers tossed a five-hitter as Spring Mills rolled to a 9-0 victory over Lemont on Sunday.

Myers walked just one and struck out five in the dominating performance.

The Braves did all of their damage in the first two innings, taking advantage of errors and walks.

Kevin Conklin had an RBI single and George Conklin added a sacrifice fly in a four-run first inning. Mike Vogt had an RBI single and George Conklin had another sacrifice fly in a five-run second.

Cody Young and Myers each had three singles for the Braves.

Kieran Kempton had a single and a double for the Ducks.
