Dean named for PSU’s College of Agricultural Sciences

Richard Roush has been named dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences, pending approval by the Penn State board of trustees at its July 11 meeting, the university announced in a news release Tuesday.

Roush replaces Bruce McPheron, who left Penn State in November 2012 to become vice president for agricultural administration and dean of the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at Ohio State University.

Roush is the dean and a professor at University of Melbourne’s Melbourne School of Land and Environment in Australia. His new position is effective Oct. 1.
