County League baseball: Howard knocks off Clarence

— Dylan Womer threw a six-hitter as Howard knocked off Clarence 7-1 in Centre County Baseball League action Wednesday.

Womer held Clarence scoreless through the first six innings and finished with five strikeouts.

Leading 2-0, the Hawks (10-5) broke the came open with four runs in the fourth. Evan Gettig delivered the big blow with a two-run double. Tyler Womer added a RBI single and Travis Price had a sacrifice fly in the inning.

Gettig and Dylan Woomer had two hits each. Garrett Jabco had two singles for the Mounties (9-7).
