Penn State to offer dual-language course

From CDT staff reportsJuly 3, 2014

Riding the popularity of its “Creativity, Innovation and Change” MOOC, beginning July 14, Penn State will offer its first dual-language massive open online course entirely in Chinese, the university announced in a news release Tuesday.

More than 130,000 people registered for the MOOC last fall, and the Penn State faculty working on this MOOC hope to reach far more people by offering it in Chinese.

The course, according to the release, “explores the science behind creativity and encourages students to unlock and harness the creativity within themselves.”

All of the course materials have been translated from English.
