On the Scene: Summer’s Best Music Fest

July 6, 2014

State College’s Summer’s Best Music Fest, an annual tribute to music and the arts, included a day full of live music, a pet parade and a street bazaar.

Performers included Jason Michael Carroll, Big Coronas Band, Biscuit Jam, Cone of Silence, Copperlily, Jackie Brown and the Gill Street Band, Mama Corn and Man Alive.

Along Calder Alley, a table was set up to sell baked goods to raise money for the St. Paul’s United Methodist Church women’s group, which raises funds for women, children and youth missions.
