County League baseball: Spring Mills scores late runs to drop Pleasant Gap

— Trailing 4-3 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, Spring Mills rallied to beat Pleasant Gap 5-4 in Centre County Baseball League action Sunday.

With one out and runners on second and third, Micah Schrenkel laced a line-drive single over the shortstop’s head into left field to bring home Mike Vogt and George Conklin with the tying and winning runs.

Logan Marcum had plated two runs with a single in the fourth for the Braves, and Greg Reeder had ripped a three-run home run for the Peppers.

Tyler Myers earned the win.
