Teener League baseball: Bellefonte rallies to beat Mount Union

— A late-game rally helped Bellefonte improve to 2-0 in the Area 5 13-14 year-old Teener League Tournament with a 4-3 win over Mount Union on Sunday.

Trailing 3-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning, Cade Fortney put down a suicide squeeze bunt to score Dan Catchmark to tie the game, and Catchmark scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh on a wild pitch.

Catchmark also tripled, singled and earned the win on the mound, with Nate Spicer adding a pair of hits.

On Saturday, Catchmark and Brock Hanscom each doubled while Nate Spicer, Steve Cutchess and Dylan Dietrick each had a pair of hits in a five-inning, 13-5 win over Penns Valley

Jarred Kiner had a double and two singles and Jacob Daniels added a double for Penns Valley.
