The bobblehead will be given away to the first 1,000 fans through the gates at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on Aug. 28, when the Spikes host the Williamsport Crosscutters. The New York-Penn League baseball game begins at 7:05 p.m., with the gates opening to the public at 6 p.m..

The contest will take place during the team’s final homestand of the regular season.

Franklin will coach his first Nittany Lion football game two days later in Dublin, when Penn State faces Central Florida in the Croke Park Classic.
