Penn State men’s soccer: Garrigan among 8 joining Nittany Lions

— Penn State has anounced eight additions to the roster for the coming season, with four transfers and four freshmen, including a State College product.

Among the freshmen set to suit up next month is defender Jake Garrigan, who helped the Little Lions to the District 6 title last season.

Also in the class is defender Ryan Gallagher of Pine Bush, N.Y., the brother of former Nittany Lion John Gallagher; defender Dani Marks of Ra’anana, Isreal; and midfielder Noah Pilato of Oak Hill, Va.

Joining the program from other schools are sophomore forward Riley Grant and sophomore defender Brett Gravatt from Akron; junior midfielder Brian James, who played in 17 games and scored three goals last season with Virginia; and junior midfielder Brandon Saviano, who started 19 games each of the last two seasons at St. John’s, totaling three goals and three assists.
