Snow Shoe teen charged after killing cat with bow and arrow

July 11, 2014

A 15-year-old Snow Shoe boy was charged with cruelty to animals June 18 after state police said he shot and killed a neighborhood cat with a bow and arrow.

Police said the boy, who was not identified because of his age, shot the cat, which climbed beneath a nearby house, became tangled in wires and died between noon and midnight. The incident occurred at 360 Preslovich Road in Snow Shoe.

The cat belonged to Edward and Marlene Preslovich, also of Snow Shoe.
