Spring Mills man charged on drug offenses after traffic stop

A 22-year-old Spring Mills man, stopped for a traffic violation, was arrested after police discovered drugs in his car.

Shawn Boob was stopped by state police at 11 a.m. on Wednesday near Penns Valley High School on state Route 45.

Multiple drug charges were filed after police discovered Boob was in possession of drugs as well as paraphernalia, state police at Rockview said. The specific charges were under the commonwealth’s Act 64, the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act.
