American Legion baseball: Mifflin County shuts out Bellefonte in Central Penn League playoffs

— Bellefonte’s offense and defense were cold in the Bandits’ 8-0 loss to Mifflin County in the second round of the Central Penn League American Legion baseball playoffs on Saturday.

Heath Hidlay was dominant on the mound for Mifflin County, giving up just three hits and striking out four.

Seth Weaver, Noah Perryman and Adam Kuhn had the hits for Bellefonte.

Max Remy drove in two runs for Mifflin County, which took advantage of three Bandit errors. Mifflin County advances to host Beech Creek at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Bellefonte will host Clearfield at 5:30 p.m. Sunday in an elimination game.
