Centre County League baseball: Clarence out slugs Blanchard

— In a game that featured four home runs and 35 hits, Clarence outslugged Blanchard 14-11 Monday.

Winning pitcher Brian Kochik clubbed a solo home run and Alex Struble added a two-run blast in the Mounties’ six-run fourth inning. The Mounties also got a 4 for 4 performance from Derek Jabco, who also had a double, and Adam Day was 3 for 4 with a double.

Mike Vonada, who took the loss, ripped a pair of home runs, including a first-inning grand slam. He added a two-run blast in the second inning. Kyle Miller added a 3 for 3 day at the plate for the Bees.
