Hershey Medical Center recognized in U.S. News & World Report ranking

Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center earned top recognition in U.S. News and World Report’s annual ranking of the nation’s hospitals.

Hershey earned top 50 ranks nationally in six pediatric fields, including cancer, cardiology, neurology and orthopedics.

The hospital also ranked was as “high-gperforming” in a number of adult specialties, including cancer; ear, nose and throat; geriatrics and urology.

Overall, the rankings placed Hershey as the No. 13 hospital in the state.
