closeTestimonial for Joe Wakeley
Joe is one of the most honest trustworthy people I have met. In his youth, he became a swimming champion with support from Grace Kelly’s brother. His children went on to become swimming champions.
Joe was a co-founder and prime mover for the development of the State College YMCA. I have worked with Joe at the Applied Research Lab at Penn State for many years. Joe was always thorough and precise in all the projects on which he had worked. His favorite statement was “If you take on a job, do it well and to the best of your ability.” He is very level headed, honest, and hard working. Joe has served the community many times and has done an excellent job at each one of those commitments.
Electing Joe will insure he will put the needs of his community first and not personal pet projects as many politicians are apt to do. You have an opportunity to elect a quality mayor by voting in November for Joe Wakeley. Please do so to make State College a better and much improved State College.

Vote for Fred DiMuccio
In the November election there will be a new name on the ballot for supervisor in Harris Township. His name is Fred DiMuccio. Fred has resided in Harris Township since 1988. He and his wife are raising two daughters in the State College School District (both now in senior high.) Fred would like to give his time to the community and is eager to serve in this position. His experience at Penn State — 26 years as systems manager and networking problem — solving — make him a good candidate.

Parks Miller has negative campaign
In article after article published in the CDT Stacy Parks Miller annunciates all of the shortfalls (according to her vested opinion) of Michael Madeira and his office. To date your reporters have miserably failed us, the readership, in bringing to light who Stacy Parks Miller is or what she has done right or wrong.
The CDT has simply endorsed a negative mud slinging campaign of Parks Miller and afforded us, the readership, with little unbiased information. Not that the CDT is biased (hopefully not) but that the CDT reporters are allowing a one-sided debate.
Thereby the CDT has given Parks Miller a platform to tell us what she is not going to do in protecting our families. Would the CDT please print this plea before the election as a small token of respect for our intellect and desire for future aggressive reporting of both sides of a debate/campaign?
You hold a high and noble place in our community as purveyors of truth, please allow this to be an encouragement in that regard.
