The skinny: The Lady Raiders are coming off their best season in program history, and the team’s goals are higher this season than just making the district playoffs. ... Roster is small in numbers with just 17 girls, but it’s also young with only two seniors in Danielle Gomola and Suzanne Lopez, against 10 freshmen and sophomores. ... Sophomore Abby Newman and freshman Brooke Redfern are competing for the starting keeper spot. ... Miller anticipates a lot of versatility in the rest of the roster among all the forward, midfield and defender positions.

Coach Miller says: “The team as a whole is very competitive and on any day at any minute the varsity team and starters can change. The competitiveness between the girls on the team is the best I've seen ever and they are making my job easy.”
