BELLEFONTE — Bellefonte’s Kaity Clouserfinished with 11 kills, nine digs and four aces Tuesday as the Lady Red Raider volleyball team defeated Penns Valley 25-22, 25-5, 25-16.
Jerrica Harvey added nine digs and Emily Putnam tallied 15 assists for Bellefonte (12-1).
Leaders for Penns Valley (5-8) included Morgan Holsopple with nine digs, Maria Andrews with seven kills and Taylor Poorman with eight assists.
BEA cruises to win
LEWISTOWN — Bald Eagle Area defeated Lewistown 25-13, 25-15, 22-25, 25-17 on Tuesday.
Kelsey Shaw dished out 27 assists for BEA (11-3), Katelyn Miller had 12 kills andKayla Conferfinished with eight kills.

P-O secures title
TYRONE — Philipsburg-Osceola’s victories on Tuesday over Central Mountain and Tyrone gave the Lady Mounties the 2009 Mountain League Nittany Division title.
The Lady Mounties won both meets 15-50 and took the top six spots, led by Lauren Simcox, who won with a time of 22:11.
The other top finishers for P-O were Mary Komisar (23:33), Marissa Albert (24:17), Kristen Fox (24:23), Erika Patrick (24:36), Sarah Komisar (24:39), Jordyn Miller (26:13) and Danielle McKnight (26:27).
Bellefonte earns wins
MARTINSBURG — Bellefonte’s Danielle Dombek finished second overall Tuesday to help lift the Lady Red Raiders past Bald Eagle Area 15-50 and Central 26-29.
Dombek finished 49 seconds out of first place with a time of 21 minutes, 48 seconds while teammate Sara Bannach took fifth in 22:57.
Molly Cain (23:22) and Brittany Catherman (23:29) took seventh and eighth, respectively, for the Lady Raiders with Kara Miller leading BEA in 15th.

Red Raiders triumph
MARTINSBURG — Bellefonte’s Nick Grasser finished just seven seconds behind Northern Bedford’s Aaron Benner for first place on Tuesday in helping the Red Raiders run past Bald Eagle Area 15-50 and Central 21-38.
Grasser ran a time of 18:12, Bellefonte’s Dave Tanney (18:14) was fourth and Zach Catherman (19:26) was fifth.
Luke Bracken (20:04) led BEA in ninth with the Red Raiders’ Alex Nelson (20:05) placing 10th.
P-O earns split
TYRONE — Philipsburg-Osceola had a .500 day Tuesday, beating Tyrone 26-29 but falling to Central Mountain 27-28.
The top finisher for the Mounties was Nick Patrick, finishing third with a time of 19:41. Also in the top 10 for P-O were Chris Patrick (19:44) in fourth and Zack Hynd (20:46) in 10th. Greg Kojadinovich also finished strong for P-O in 11th with a time of 21:33.
Rams split at Lewistown
LEWISTOWN — Peter Kistler and Ryan Brown took second and third place, respectively, for Penns Valley on Tuesday, but Indian Valley still got past the Rams 24-34 and Lewistown 15-50. Penns Valley went 1-1 with a 15-50 win over Lewistown.
Alex Monroe led all runners for the Warriors in a time of 16:38. Kistler finished in 17:11 and Brown-was close behind in 17:21 with Michael Decker placing eighth in 18:20 for the Rams (7-2).

Late goals lifts Lewistown past BEA
LEWISTOWN — Bald Eagle Area appeared headed for a tie until two Lewistown goals in the final two minutes gave the Panthers a 3-1 victory Tuesday.
Lewistown’s Caden Steel and BEA’s Justin Giedroc scored first-half goals and the score held at 1-1 until Alex Light found the net with 1:39 left in regulation and Zach Peachey added an insurance goal with nine second left.
“We just couldn’t put the ball in when we needed to,” Eagles coach Jason Bair said. “I pushed everyone forward after they went ahead so we could tie it and then they got another one.”
Danny Styles picked up an assist for BEA (5-11) while Josh Snyder made seven saves in goal.
FIELD HOCKEY
Lady Little Lions down Juniata
STATE COLLEGE — Amanda Dinunzio scored twice for State College on Tuesday as the Lady Little Lions ousted Juniata 5-0.
State College (13-4) took a commanding 3-0 lead as Jackie Kenney, Dinunzio and Tori Patrick each notched goals in the final 11 minutes of the opening half with Dinunzio and Nadia Lehtihet each scoring in the second half.
With Tuesday’s win, the Lady Little Lions finished its Tri-Valley League schedule with an 11-3 record.
