Maria Andrewsl ed the way for Penns Valley (3-5), recording team highs with 13 kills, five digs, and one block. Kasey Packer and Morgan Holsopple each had three aces in the serving category for Penns Valley. The assist leader was Taylor Poorman with 13.
BEA falls at Huntingdon
HUNTINGDON — Bald Eagle Area won the first two games Tuesday, but could not regain momentum after dropping Game 3 as Huntingdon won three straight games to outlast the Lady Eagles 16-25, 19-25, 25-22, 25-15, 15-12.
BEA (6-2) was leading 18-16 in Game 3 before Huntingdon finished on a 9-4 run.
Kendra Fetzer led the Lady Eagles with 15 kills, followed by 11 from Nicole Reese and 10 from Kayla Confer. Reese added a team-high 16 digs, Confer had 10 digs and Kelsey Shaw tallied 41 assists.
Bellefonte sweeps Central Mountain
BELLEFONTE — Bellefonte squeezed out the first game before dominating the second on Tuesday en route to a sweep of Central Mountain 26-24, 25-8, 25-20.
Emily Putnam collected 22 assists, Kaity Clouser had 14 kills and 11 digs and Amber Haslet served up seven aces as the Lady Raiders improved to 7-1.
P-O drops Central
PHILIPSBURG — Philipsburg-Osceola needed just three games to take down Central 25-11, 25-8, 25-13 Tuesday and remain undefeated in league play.
Kelsey Gonder led the Lady Mounties (11-2, 8-0 Mountain League) with 18 service points, 12 assists and five aces. Taylor Harpster had 18 kills and four blocks while Natasha Frank had 11 kills and four blocks. Julianne Gray finished with seven digs.

Little Lions cruise past Williamsport
WILLIAMSPORT — State College’s Paul Crowe, Colton Gilpin and Peter Lin took the top three places, respectively as the Little Lions ousted Williamsport 15-50 on Tuesday.
Crowe ran a time of 16 minutes, 38 seconds, Gilpin finished in 16:54 and Lin ran a 16:57. Nick Dudukovich (17:06) was fourth for the Little Lions and Charley Page (17:22) finished fifth.

Williamsport tops State College
WILLIAMSPORT — Williamsport took the top four places Tuesday en route to an 18-38 victory over State College.
Williamsport’s Ann Cromley won the event with a time of 20 minutes, 31 seconds.
State College’s top finisher was Maggie Davis (21:49) in fifth, followed by Jordan Johnson (22:20) in sixth and Miranda Holmes (22:29) in seventh.

BEA earns shutout
HOUTZDALE — Bald Eagle Area’s Taylor Parsons scored an unassisted goal in the 32nd minute Tuesday as the Lady Eagles topped Moshannnon Valley 1-0.
Chelsea Lucas needed five saves in goal for BEA (3-5) as the Lady Eagles amassed a 26-5 advantage in shots.

State College blanks Clearfield
STATE COLLEGE — The State College boys’ soccer team got back on the winning track with an easy 9-0 against Clearfield Tuesday.
Robbie Edwards, Kelton Cheney and Jake Langton each scored two goals for the Little Lions (3-3). Matt Lee also recorded three points with a goal and two assists. State College outshot Clearfield 37-7 for the game, as Greg Payne and Clay Barkman combined to make three saves in goal for the Little Lions.
Penns Valley downs Huntingdon
PENNS VALLEY — Penns Valley’s Anthony Glossner scored two goals to lift the Rams to a 3-1 win over Huntingdon on Tuesday.
Trailing 1-0 early in the first half, Glossner connected to tie the game at 12:48 before adding the game-winner at 55:41 in the second half .Tyler Silksassisted both goals.
Silks added an insurance goal three minutes later off a feed from Josh Stover.
