The senior helped State College defend its District 6 Class AAA title by placing second and qualifying for the PIAA meet in three events last week at Mansion Park. Andersen completed the 100 in 12.53 and the 200 in 25.79 and ran a leg on a 400-meter relay team that qualified for the state meet in 49.85. Andersen’s times in the 100 and 200 were career bests.
