PSU adds 2 o-linemen

The Penn State football team added two offensive lineman recruits to the fold this week, bringing its number of commitments up to eight.

Eric Shrive, a 6-foot-7, 300-pound tackle from Scranton, chose the Nittany Lions over more than 30 major programs, including Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan and Illinois.

On Wednesday, Penn State received a commitment from Frank Figueroa, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound prospect from Thomas Edison High School in Alexandria, Va, who projects as an interior lineman in college.

Rated among the nation’s top 100 prospects by both Rivals and Scout, Shrive, who plays at West Scranton High School, projects as an offensive tackle in college.
