Theft

A student reported the theft of a set of privately owned tools from Research Unit B. The incident occurred between 4 July 2009 and 9 August 2009. The value of loss is estimated at $200.00. Investigation by PSO Clouse.

Harassment

A student reported receiving a threatening email from an identified person. Investigation by PSO Ball.

Health and Safety

University Police assisted the University Ambulance Service with a student who was having a medical emergency at Packer Hall. The student was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center by University Ambulance Service. Investigation by PSO Clouse.

Personnel from University Police assisted University Ambulance Service staff at White Building with a student who suffered a medical emergency. The student was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center. Investigation by PSO Clouse.

Assist Outside Agency

PSO White assisted the Pennsylvania State Police with an investigation in Blair County.

Health and Safety

Personnel from University Police assisted University Ambulance Service staff on the sixth floor of Sproul Hall with a student who suffered a medical emergency. The student was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center. Investigation by PSO Aiken.

Health and Safety

A student reported a dog had been left unattended in a vehicle for twenty minutes. The owner of the vehicle was located and the pet determined to be unharmed. Investigation by PSO Rodgers.

Receiving Stolen Property/Criminal Mischief

PSO Aiken observed University owned property displayed in a window at Snyder Hall. The property was recovered and the room occupants, Shane Matthew Rowan, 7524 Bingham Street, Philadelphia, PA and Nicholas J. Spadaccini, 3149 South 20th Street Philadelphia, PA were each issued a citation for criminal mischief and released.

Drug Law Violation/Minor’s Law Violation

Officer Rider filed criminal charges with the office of Magisterial District Judge Carmine W. Prestia Jr. against Cody M. Fenello, 143 Blue Ridge Drive, Cranberry Township, PA and James E. Robertshaw, 127 Cromwell Lane, West Chester, PA. Fenello is charged with one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and one count of Minor’s Law Violation. Robertshaw is charged with one count of Minor’s Law Violation. All charges stem from an incident which occurred on 30 September 2009 at Simmons Hall.

Officer Cover filed criminal charges with the office of Magisterial District Judge Carmine W. Prestia Jr. against Kelsel M. Kjeldsen, 33 Magoun Road, West Islip, NY. Kjeldsen is charged with one count of Minor’s Law Violation. The charge stems from an incident which occurred on 17 October 2009 at Pollock Commons.

Public Drunkenness

Officer Triveri filed criminal charges with the office of Magisterial District Judge Leslie A. Dutchcot against Brian P. Gula, 1046 Taylor Avenue, Scranton, PA. Gula is charged with one count of Public Drunkenness. The charge stems from an incident which occurred on 17 October 2009 at the intersection of Park Avenue and University Drive.
