Theft

A student reported his secured bicycle was taken from the bike rack near Hallowell Building. The incident occurred between 1500 hours, 23 October 2009 and1200 hours, 26 October 2009. The total value of the loss is estimated at $500.00. Investigation by PSO Ball.

Vehicle Crash

A visitor reported their privately owned vehicle struck the curb along Curtin Road near Rec Hall. Damage to the vehicle was minor and no injuries were reported. Investigation by PSO Jones.

Health and Safety

University Police assisted the University Ambulance Service with a student suffering a medical emergency at Health and Human Development East Building. The male was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment. Investigation by PSO Ball.

Criminal Mischief

A staff member reported a tree had been damaged near Weaver Building between 1700 hours, 23 October 2009 and 0800 hours, 26 October 2009. The total value of the damage is estimated at $300.00. Investigation by PSO Ball.

University Police assisted the University Ambulance Service with a student suffering a medical emergency at Academic Activities Building. The student was evaluated and refused transport to a medical facility. Investigation by PSO Clouse. 26 October 2009

A student reported her secured bicycle was taken from the bike rack near McElwain Hall. The incident occurred between 2000 hours, 23 October 2009 and 1130 hours, 25 October 2009. The total value of the loss is estimated at $288.43. Investigation by PSO Clouse.

Theft

A student reported his passport missing from the area of Electrical Engineering East Building. The incident occurred between 1800 hours, 1 October 2009 and 1322 hours, 26 October 2009. The total value of the loss is estimated at $10.00. Investigation by PSO Jones.

Criminal Trespass

A staff member reported three male students trespassing on the roof of Academic Activities Building. The students were identified and released. Investigation by PSO Clouse.

University Police assisted the University Ambulance Service with a student suffering a medical emergency at Keller Building. She was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment. Investigation by PSO Rodgers.

Theft

A student reported the theft of her wallet from Life Sciences Building. The incident occurred between 1515 hours and 1620 hours, 26 October 2009. The total value of the loss is estimated at $185.00. The wallet was later recovered and returned to the owner. Investigation by PSO Rodgers.

Theft

A student reported the theft of his secured bicycle from a bike rack near Redifer Commons. The incident occurred between 10 September 2009 and 12 September 2009. The total value of the loss is estimated at $55.00. Investigation by PSO Jones.

Vehicle Crash

A student reported she was struck by a privately owned vehicle on Pollock Road while riding her bicycle. The incident occurred at approximately 1530 hours, 26 October 2009. The vehicle failed to stop at the time of the incident. Investigation by PSO Medina.

Minor’s Law Violation/Public Drunkenness/False Identification to Law Enforcement

PSO Rawding filed criminal charges with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan D. Grine against Mounica Banala, 902 North York Drive, Downingtown, PA. Banala was charged with one count each; Minor’s Law Violation, Public Drunkenness and False Identification to Law Enforcement. The charges stem from an incident which occurred on 10 October 2009 at the Shortlidge Road Bus Stop.

PSO Miller filed criminal charges with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan D. Grine against Ariel M. Coronel, 11603 Helmont Drive, Oakton, Va. Coronel was charged with one count of Minor’s Law Violation. The charge stems from an incident which occurred on 24 October 2009 at Geary Hall.

Driving Under the Influence

PSO Cover filed criminal charges with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan D. Grine against Nathan D. Brooks, 348 Blue Course Drive, Apartment # 267, State College, PA. Brooks was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Controlled Substance and Driving while Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked. The charges stems from an incident which occurred on 24 October 2009 at the intersection of Burrowes Road at Pollock Road.
