Italy’s famous statue “The Dying Gaul” on display in D.C.’s National Gallery of Art

An ancient Roman is visiting the U.S. for the first time. The Capitoline Museums in Rome has lent the statue, “The Dying Gaul,” to the National Gallery of Art from December 12, 2013 to March 16, 2014. This will be the only place it will be exhibited in the United States.
