Seattle-based hip-hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will tour the United States with a stop at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center on Nov. 7.
Rolling Stone says the duo has “the makings of genuine superstars,” and this fall the two will play sold-out shows across Europe after massive ticket sales that saw two nights at the O2 Arena in Dublin sell out in 25 minutes — faster than any artist since Beyoncé.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis also broke new ground in 2012 by independently releasing their debut full-length album, “The Heist,” which shot to the No. 1 slot on iTunes, debuted at No. 2 the Billboard charts and was certified gold without the support of a traditional record label.
Opening acts will be Talib Kweli and Big K.R.I.T.
