STATE COLLEGE — State College’s Jackie Kenney scored three goals Monday as the Lady Little Lion field hockey team toppled Lewistown 7-1 on Senior Night and Breast Cancer Awareness Night at Memorial Field.
Kenney helped to put the Lady Panthers away early with two goals in the first half, along with her third coming less than a minute into the second half.
Chelsea Dodds also scored in the first half to give State College a 3-0 lead as Rebecca Grande and Amanda Dinunzio combined for three second-half goals for the Lady Little Lions (10-3).

P-O too much for Lewistown
PHILIPSBURG — Philipsburg-Osceola got its record back to .500 with a 3-0 win over Lewistown on Monday.
Kristen Kojadinovich, Cherise Diehl and Alison Patrick each scored for the Lady Mounties (6-6) with Marissa Albert and Debi Hirschbiel each adding an assist.
Amanda Czar earned her sixth shutout in goal this season.
Lady Red Raiders notch shutout
BELLEFONTE — Bellefonte earned a 2-0 shutout over Indian Valley on Monday.
Kristin Buchanan scored at 23:57, with an assist from Emily Jabco with Angela Davies later scoring off a free kick in the second half.
Defensively, Bellefonte (9-3) held Indian Valley to just two shots with keeper Abby Newman making both saves.
Bulldogs edge Calvary Christian
BELLEFONTE — Centre County Christian Academy needed just a first-half goal to trip up Calvary Christian 1-0 Monday.
Morgan Donley notched the game’s lone score, unassisted in the 22nd minute.
Hannah Thomas recorded nine saves for the shutout for CCCA (5-1).
Grace Prep falls
STATE COLLEGE — Northumberland Christian cruised past Grace Prep 10-0 Monday.
Alyssa Wesner scored three goals in the win while Emily Wolfe added two.

Huntingdon blanks Bald Eagle Area
WINGATE — Huntingdon took down Bald Eagle Area 3-0 Monday.
Ben Lang and Ian Keating scored for the Bearcats in the first half with Josh Wolfe scoring just 2:24 into the second.
Grace Prep earns win
STATE COLLEGE — Smith Paul tallied two second-half goals Monday to help Grace Prep pull away from Northumberland Christian 4-1.
Davis Streit and Jon Rothgeb each scored for Grace Prep (7-2) in the first half for an early 2-0 lead before Northumberland’s Luis Mendez scored near halftime. Paul then scored in the 50th and 58th minutes, respectively.

Raiders outlast Scarlet Dragons
ROARING SPRINGS — Bellefonte was taken to the limit Monday night but survived a battle with Central 24-26, 25-22, 16-25, 25-13, 15-13.
Kaity Clouser had a big-night for the Lady Red Raiders (8-1) with 23 kills and 13 digs and Jena Matter added eight kills and five blocks. They were aided by Tarryn Lillian’s six blocks, Emily Putnam’s 22 assists and four aces and Olivia Sealy’s 15 digs.
Penns Valley upends Indian Valley
SPRING MILLS — Maria Andrews had a team-high 11 kills Monday to help lead Penns Valley past Indian Valley 25-19, 25-15, 25-16.
Kasey Packer served for 13 points and added six digs, Taylor Poor-man had 19 assists for the Lady Rams (5-5) and Ashley Garbrick served up seven aces.
Lady Eagles triumph
HUNTINGDON — Bald Eagle Area cruised past Central Mountain 25-16, 25-15, 22-25, 25-19 on Monday.
Kelsey Shaw led BEA (7-3) with 22 assists, Nicole Reese had seven kills, Cortney Switzer had 10 digs and Kelly Hamer notched seven digs.

Altoona outlasts State College
ALTOONA — Corinne Jones picked up the only win for State College on Monday in a 4-1 loss to Altoona.
Jones swept past McKenna Dixon at first singles 6-1, 6-0.
Desiree Dennis lost a tight match to Sarah Quinn 6-2, 3-6, 6-4, but the toughest loss of the day was the marathon at second doubles, where Lillian Xu and Jillian Rodgers could not convert on a couple second-set match points during an eventual 14-12 tiebreak loss during a 5-7, 7-6, 6-1 setback to Alison Schmidt and Morgan Adams.
