Q: How long have you been around?
A: Ki’netik Fitness opened in February 2008.
Q: What do you offer the community?
Never miss a local story.
A: We offer the community an open place to make their lives healthier through physical activity and lifestyle changes as nutrition and dietary adjustments. Our schedule is filled with a variety of classes to include small group training — a personalized program for a group of five or less people in one class; large group training — functional training class with cardio, strength and a bit of fun; sports performance — another small group class geared toward athletes, Tier One Training-Olympic lifting with a twist and one-on-one training. We also do group run training for 5ks, half marathons and endurance race training. Nutrition consultations are available upon request as well.
Q: What do you love about what you do?
A: We love meeting new people and helping them become stronger and healthier, able to move with fewer aches and pains, and feel better. Our passionate coaches enjoy helping people achieve their health and fitness goals. They are all up to date on the latest trends, love to research to help clients find answers to health and fitness questions, and push the clients to achieve more than they thought they could. We love the community at Ki’netik that goes beyond health and fitness.
Q: What makes Centre County a great place to live?
A: The people, community and availability of activities. Our clients and us like to bike, hike, run and play different sports. Everything is here for the community to participate in.
Q: What’s on the horizon for the coming year?
A: That’s a good question. Keep helping people and making \k\ the place to be for group training. Maintain the quality of motivation and drive of the coaches through keeping up to date on the latest nutrition and health information to better educate our clients.
