(AMEX: BHO) reported gains on the sale of two vessels totaling $13.1 million, giving rise to unaudited net income of $11.1 million or $1.61 per share basic and diluted, for the three months ended March 31, 2008 compared to $3.1 million or $0.44 per share basic and diluted, for the three months ended March 31, 2007. The Company added that income from vessel operations was $1.8 million in the first quarter of 2008 as compared to $5.2 million for the first quarter of 2007. EBITDA for the three months ended March 31, 2008 was $21.1 million, including the gain on vessel sales of $13.1 million, as compared to $11.3 million for the comparable period of 2007. Basic earnings per share calculations are based on weighted average shares outstanding of 6,864,576 and 6,986,499 respectively, for the three months ended March 31, 2008 and 2007. There are no dilutive securities at March 31, 2008 or 2007.

AURORA, Ill. AAA projects the number of Americans traveling during the Memorial Day holiday will drop compared to the previous year. In addition, Fitch affirms the 'AA-' rating on $1.5 billion in parity revenue bonds and also the 'AA-' underlying rating on the authority's outstanding $2.4 billion VRDBs and auction rate revenue bonds, all of which are on parity. The series 2008 VRDBs are expected to be uninsured. The Rating Outlook on the bonds is Stable. Approximately $2.4 billion of the authority's $4.4 billion in outstanding debt is rated 'AA' based on guarantees of scheduled debt service payments under financial guaranty insurance policies provided by Ambac Assurance Corporation whose claims-paying ability is rated 'AA' by Fitch.
