One person was pronounced dead after a two vehicle-crash Sunday in Mifflin County.
According to state police at Lewistown, a northbound vehicle was approaching Jacks Mountain Road in Oliver Township at about 2 p.m. in the area of a newly posted construction zone. The vehicle allegedly traveled into the oncoming lane and struck a southbound vehicle head-on.
The driver of the northbound vehicle, Paul F. Getz, 83, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver and passenger, Kenneth Grove, 78, and Mary J. Krepps, 85, of the southbound vehicle were flown to UPMC Altoona.
