Philadelphia police were looking for a group of fans who damaged a woman’s car by jumping on it during the Eagles’ Super Bowl parade on February 8. Police released video of the incident on Tuesday, February 13. Police said a 22-year-old woman parked her vehicle on the street while she attended the parade. When she returned, she found extensive body damage to the hood and roof of the car. Video and photographs later surfaced and showed numerous people standing and jumping on the vehicle, police said. Two people were arrested the day of the parade in unrelated assault incidents, a news report said.
Former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell led Eagles fans in a chant aboard a flight to Philadelphia on Monday, February 5, following the Eagles championship win. Sunday’s Super Bowl win over the New England Patriots was the first for the Eagles. The Eagles last won a football championship, then known as the NFL championship, in 1960. The Eagles also arrived home in Philadelphia on Monday. A parade to celebrate the championship is scheduled for Thursday morning.
On the second day of disgraced ex-sports doctor Larry Nassar's final sentencing hearing the father of three victims, Randall Margraves, tried to attack Nassar. The man charged across the room but was quickly tackled by bailiffs and lead from the courtroom. This hearing focuses on Nassar's work with Twistars, an elite Michigan gymnastics club. More than 30 victims have given statements so far. During a similar hearing that ended last week, more than 150 girls and women came forward.

A woman flying from New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport on January 28 had her request to bring her emotional support animal on board declined by United Airlines – her support animal was a peacock. The Jet Set reported the woman purchased a second ticket for the animal and tried to board her flight, but was unsuccessful. This video shows the peacock standing on the shoulder of the passenger as she walks through the doors of the terminal. In a statement, United Airlines said the traveller was told three times prior to arriving at the airport that the animal “did not meet the guidelines,” yet she still tried to board with the peacock.
Brawls broke out in French supermarkets on Thursday as shoppers scrambled to get their hands on discounted pots of the chocolate and hazelnut spread Nutella. The Intermarche chain launched a massive discount on the spread, reducing the price of a 950 grammes (33.5 ounces) jar by almost 70 percent, from 4.50 euros (5.6 US dollars) to 1.41 euros (1.75 US dollars).The sale led to a rush on Nutella in one supermarket in Toulon, with shoppers shoving each other as they tried to get their hands on the jars.
