As Penn State’s first home football game approaches, State College Borough has announced its parking regulations for 2013.
The “no parking 2 to 6 a.m.” restriction will not be enforced from noon on Friday through Sunday evening each weekend of a home football game. That restriction will begin again each Monday at 2 a.m.
The one- and two-hour parking restrictions also will not be enforced during those times and lawn parking will be allowed during the weekend.
Visitors are encouraged to use the parking garages on Beaver Avenue, Fraser Street and Pugh Street. If snow and ice are predicted, street parking will not be allowed.
Never miss a local story.
The borough will strictly enforce all vehicle code violations. No parking is allowed in the following circumstances: on the sidewalk, within an intersection, on a crosswalk, within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection, within 30 feet of a stop sign, over 12 inches from the curb, against traffic and in front of a driveway.
Those with questions should contact borough police at 234-7150.
