Work to rehabilitate a bridge on state Route 64 near Hublersburg will begin Tuesday, according to the state Department of Transpotation.
Once work begins, drivers will take turns moving through the construction zone with the help of temporary traffic signals.
The bridge spans Little Fishing Creek between Hublersburg and Nittany. It was built in 1960 and carries an average of 4,400 vehicles per day.
Work is expected to last through late December and includes replacement of the bridge deck and abutment, and installation of a new concrete barrier, guiderail and pavement markings.
