State Rep. Mike Hanna, D-Lock Haven, is running for a 13th term as 76th District representative. He announced his re-election bid Friday.
Hanna has served the district since 1991 and has been the House Democratic Whip for four years.
“As the nation’s economy begins to rebound from the great recession, Pennsylvania is uniquely positioned to lead the recovery,” Hanna said in a statement. “I want to be part of building economic opportunity by working with small businesses who create jobs and making sure our area has a strong voice to get our fair share of state dollars for roads and schools.”
Efforts to reach Hanna on Friday were unsuccessful.
He said in a news release that he opposes outsourcing the state lottery and said “family sustaining wages” and “making public education a top priority” are among his platforms.
The 76th district includes all of Clinton County and eastern Centre County.
