Philipsburg-Osceola Area school board passed the 2014-15 fiscal year final budget Tuesday.
The spending plan calls for $29,311,685 in revenues and expenditures.
Taxes are not being increased; however, the district is making its annual tweak of tax rates.
Because the district straddles Clearfield and Centre counties, there is a mandated adjustment that occurs each year to keep a house valued at $50,000 in one county paying the same amount of tax as a $50,000 house in the other.
Never miss a local story.
Taxes are being set at 110.02 mills in Clearfield County and 52.09 mills in Centre County.
That nudges Clearfield rates down by 1.21 mills and Centre’s up by 0.5 mills.
