Two Philipsburg men charged with burglary waived their preliminary hearings on Wednesday.
Russell Lauver, 24, and Babe Miller, 27, were found in an abandoned building at 208 E. Spruce St. on July 16 when state police at Philipsburg were contacted about strange noises.
Police said they searched the building and found the two inside without permission, attempting to steal scrap metal to recycle. The men were arrested before any of the metal was taken. Centre Square Investment Trust is listed as the victim in the case.
The pair are charged with felony counts of burglary and criminal trespass and conspiracy to commit each of those offenses, as well as misdemeanor counts of theft by unlawful taking and conspiracy, and a summary count of trespass.

Lauver and Miller remain at Centre County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 bail each.
