Those seeking to support the campaign to buy an Oak Hall farm and turn it into a residential and recreational community for adults with autism and intellectual disabilities have two ways to help.
Donations to the nonprofit Benjamin Plum Farm Inc., the name of the 70-acre farm, can be made through the organization’s gofundme.com site, http://www.gofundme.com/c6alm0. The site is also accessible through www.benjaminplumfarm.org.
In addition, checks made out to Benjamin Plum Farm Inc. can be sent to Cathy Prosek, the organization’s secretary and treasurer, at 319 Canterbury Drive, State College, PA 16803.
Benjamin Plum Farm Inc. must raise $400,000 by Sept. 20 to secure the farm. The seller is asking about $1 million total for the farmhouse, barn and property.
