“Gadgets for Grownups” classes will begin Oct. 13 at Schlow Centre Region Library.
Library Director Cathi Alloway said the classes fill a unique niche. “It’s a low-risk, low-investment opportunity for a small group to be introduced to a new technology or gadget,” Alloway said.
The first class will feature gadgets for fitness, including apps and the Fitbit wristband. Future classes — from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays — will feature ebooks, iPads and Mac computers.
