Veterans of Centre County and their spouses are welcome to attend an outreach program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 18 at VFW Post 5825 in Pine Grove Mills.
“We’re reaching out to all the veterans of Centre County and trying to get them to understand there are benefits out there for them,” post Commander Dan Rhodes said.
The program will cover services available to veterans of all ages and eras, Centre County Veterans Affairs Director Brian Querry said, including health programs, compensation, pensions and county and state programs.
“I think it will be a good opportunity for the vets to hopefully find some new information and some programs they qualify for,” Querry said.
