The area was hit with the first frigid weather of the season Tuesday, and it looks as though it is here to stay for a few days.
“We’ve got some relief coming, but we’ll have to be patient,” AccuWeather meteorologist Tom Kines said.
Temperatures should reach the 20s Wednesday and it will be windy, though not as blustery as Tuesday, he said.
Thursday and Friday should see the mercury rise to the 30s before hitting the 40s Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures could return to the 50s Monday, Kines said.
