Answer to question: The largest issue facing Harris Township is responsible development. As property owners decide to develop their land, it is the duty of the Board of Supervisors to ensure that it is done in a responsible manner that preserves the quality of life for the township’s residents. The second issue before us is transportation. U.S. Route 322 needs improvements to make it safer. Beyond this, we need to work at improving our network of bike and pedestrian paths throughout the township. Finally, we need to be frugal with our tax dollars, spending them in the most efficient manner possible.
